The Laws of the Red Heifer
  The Red Heifer purification ceremony  described how the cow is to be prepared, and that the ashes must be picked up by a "pure man."
  It also emphasizes the importance of a proper manner that must be followed when a cow was to be delivered to the temple of sacrifice. God demanded animals that were free of disease and raised according to special breeding procedures.
